NDRF, RPF help stranded train passengers Personnel from the National Disaster Relief Force and the Railway Protection Force have been pressed into service to provide relief to passengers of the Vadodara Express, which is stranded between Virar and Nalasapara, the Western Railway has said. The train usually reaches Mumbai’s Borivali station at around 5 am every day. Today, however, it remains stranded just outside of Mumbai. “Food packets/water is (sic) being provided to the passengers in the train,” the Western Railway has said.
